Job Interview Spanish — When You're Nervous and It's in Spanish
Maria, Valentina · Colombia · Bogotá
About this episode
Valentina practiced her answers out loud the night before, alone in her room, feeling ridiculous — and it was the best thing she ever did. This episode follows her through the complete Colombian job interview: walking in with la hoja de vida, nailing "cuéntenos sobre usted," handling los puntos fuertes (always three), surviving the puntos débiles trap with the only formula that works (real weakness, real solution), and naming el sueldo without underselling or overreaching. Maria plays the interviewers. Every question gets answered twice — once in the episode, once in the island — so the phrases stick. Then five days of silence, and the call: "Valentina, nos encantó tu perfil. Queremos contratarte." The Spanish she needed for that room — she had it. Because she had practiced.
